About Nichols Electric
Sheldon Nichols established Nichols Electric in 2008 with the goal of becoming the trusted local business we are today.
Growing up on a farm in Camrose County, Sheldon learned early on the importance of reputation, loyalty and community. These values inform the way we do business each and every day. Whether you’re a large-scale industrial enterprise, a family farmer or a first-time home owner, you and your electrical needs are important to our team.
Our team of like-minded electricians share pride in exacting workmanship, a keen interest in the latest electrical innovations and techniques, as well as the friendly professionalism that our clients deserve.

Meet Bryce Acorn
Bryce is a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician with nine years of experience working on commercial, residential and agricultural electrical projects. As the son of a mechanic, Bryce grew up in a tactile environment; learning how to build and fix pretty much anything he could get his hands on. He knew early on that he wanted to pursue a trade and the electrical industry was the perfect fit for him.
“When you're finished, you take a step back and have a look. Are you proud? That’s how we think about our work. You want to be proud to put your name on it.”
– Bryce Acorn, Lead Technician

Branden's looking forward to continuing on his path as a Journeyman Electrician.
“It's nice to be part of a good team. They‘re always there to answer any questions I have and support me through my apprenticeship.”
– Branden Kontek, Junior Technician
1. Identify
It all starts with a conversation. This is where we establish open lines of communication, identifying your electrical wants and needs. We complete any site assessments, surveys or audits necessary to compile all the information we need to get started.
2. Plan
We’ll meet with you to discuss our findings and recommendations. Together we’ll determine the best course of action for your budget, always keeping in mind efficiency, reliability and longevity. We’ll then develop a work plan that works for you.
3. Schedule
We respect your time. We’ll consult with you to ensure the scheduling of our work plan is convenient and executed on time. With a schedule in place, we’ll assign our electricians and get to work.
4. Execute
This is our favourite part. Our electricians execute your electrical project, big or small, to the highest standards and attention to detail. We’ll track and report back with any findings for future reference and planning.
5. Complete
This is our clients’ favourite part; walking in and seeing their project completed. We’ll talk about your project and how we’ll continue to support your electrical maintenance and needs going forward.
